Immigrating to Newfoundland and Labrador
The Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) can provide an alternate and quicker entry into Canada. It allows Newfoundland and Labrador to nominate applicants who qualify under provincially established criteria for Permanent Resident Status.
Applying to the NLPNP is a simple process. The introduction of the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program Express Entry Skilled Worker Category enables skilled immigrant workers to enter the province faster than ever before. Express Entry offers the opportunity for permanent residency and provides a path to success for skilled immigrants and their families, as well as international students. Under Express Entry immigration, candidates will be fast-tracked once they receive an offer of employment from a Canadian employer, and have a Provincial Government nomination or are selected by Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
Below is a brief overview of the categories.
